UX upgrades

We’re upgrading the domain search experience in your Entri Sell IONOS flow to make your user experience even more seamless. This update will only affect the first two screens of the Entri Sell flow and is scheduled to be released on January 15th.

We’ve seen a significant increase in the conversion rate for this new search experience, and we hope to continue to drive improvements with our planned feature roadmap. 

No action is required on your end. 

The update is fully backwards compatible with existing whitelabel configurations and settings like custom brand colors, custom copy, and mail upsell. The screens following the search experience in IONOS for the checkout remain unchanged.

Why is this happening? 

Our goal is to improve the search experience for the Entri Sell IONOS flow, and lay the groundwork for exciting improvements and feature updates in 2026, like AI-powered search, dynamic filtering, and type-ahead search suggestions.

1. Will this impact my use of whitelabel variables? 

   1. These two new screens will use a streamlined list of whitelabel variables. We included visuals on the bottom of this article, or you can refer to our documentation for the updated list. 

   2. Customers are encouraged to continue sending their full list of whitelabel variables as nothing will change during the IONOS hosted portion of the checkout. 

2. Which whitelabel variables are used on the new screens? 

   1. partnerLogo, partnerName, Secondary, OnSecondary, initialScreen.title, initialScreen.marketingCopy

3. Are there any new whitelabel variables for these screens? 

   1. No, we will not be introducing any additional variables to these screens.

4. Does this change affect Mail Upsell? 

   1. This update will not impact any existing configuration like Mail Upsell.

5. Does this update impact the IONOS hosted checkout? 

   1. No, this update will only affect the first two screens in the Sell flow.
